Donate to PARLA – Help Continue the Work of Restoring and Preserving the Port Austin Reef Lighthouse
The Port Austin Reef Light Association is a volunteer-based, 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization. The work of restoring and preserving the Port Austin Reef Lighthouse happens because of donations from the public. Many of the restoration, continuing preservation and maintenance projects at the Lighthouse are made possible by federal and state grants with PARLA providing matching funds. PARLA is an all volunteer organization and every dollar that is donated goes directly into the Port Austin Reef Light.
Your donation is fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and you will receive a receipt for your donation. Your privacy is important to us and we do not sell or share any information.

Gifts in honor of a person
Its always hard when someone you love passes away. A memorial gift to the Port Austin Reef Light can be a meaningful way to honor the memory of that special person. Memorial gifts can be of any amount and will be listed in our Annual Donor Report. Additionally, we will send an acknowledgement of your gift to a family member, if requested. Gifts via the Huron Community Foundation PARLA Endowment Fund
Give the gift that lasts forever. The Port Austin Reef Light has an endowment fund at the Huron County Community Foundation. Gifts can be made via cash, check or credit card. In Lieu of Gifts
Are you shopping for the person who has everything? Consider giving a “gift” of a donation to PARLA in their honor.
Perhaps YOU are that person who has all they need. Why not suggest that people donate to PARLA in lieu of buying you yet another tie, candle, or tub of bath salts? Simply include information in your invitations letting people know that you would like them to donate to PARLA in lieu of gifts. You’ll be making their shopping easier, they’ll know their money went to a good cause, and you won’t have to smile when you get yet another holiday fruitcake!
